Is tuition expensive? PDF Print E-mail

Tuition at our School (Dojo) is priced very competitively, and actually even lower than many other comparable Martial Arts schools in the Front Range. Particularly given the quality and dedication of our Instructors; who are of the highest quality, and experience.

As with anything else, consumers need to place a value on things, and it is no different with Martial Arts instruction. What does one get for the money? It is not uncommon to hear comments from parents of students at other schools such as these:

"It seems that he/she is not learning much"

"He/She is this or that degree/color belt, but I don't think he/she is at that level"

I have also seen for myself, students that have been doing Karate or some other martial art for more than a year somewhere else, but  their technique and spirit leaves much to be desired. If that's the case, even if one paid just $20 per month for that, in my assessment, that may be $20 too expensive.

I believe that at our Dojo (school), the students get all their money's worth, and then some.  Of course, there are things on which one cannot place a monetary value, such as real friendships, true care for the development of the students, character development, etc. However, if only for the technical instruction, the tuition cost is more than worth it.

Finally, although it may not mean much to someone new to Karate, you will train with the best. The Strohmeier brothers are recognized by almost everyone in Colorado and the US as some of the best exponents of Karate-do (especially with those affiliated with the US National Karate Federation). Many of our students (especially those that attend a tournament for the first time) comment how proud they are to hear folks at the competition talk about "The Strohmeier's" their superior level and how good the students from our school are.  To continue this tradition, we uphold the highest standards for ourselves and our students, encouraging hard work and perseverance from everyone; and leading first, and always by example.
