There are only a few requirements to join our Karate school. These, however, are very important, and all students (including parents/guardians) must be familiar with them. 1.- Willingness to participate in class. All students must be willing to actively participate in class. This applies particularly to younger students who may not feel comfortable yet leaving their parent's side. Students applying for the Pre-Karate class (3-6 yrs old) must contact our office in advance to schedule an assessment session. 2.- Attend class regularly. 2.- Ability to follow directions. The students must be able to, according to their age, understand and follow the directions from their instructor. 3.- Disclose any physical / mental considerations that may be pertinent to the instructor for the overall well being of the student body (existing injuries, allergies, etc.) This information is confidential, and is only used by the instructor(s) to accomodate class dynamic to the needs of the students. 4.- Sign a waiver of liability, including permission for a school representative to administer first aid care and/or authorize medical treatment by a medical professional if needed.
5.- Students must display respect, humility, and courtesy at all times toward their instructor(s) and other students. 6.- And of course, pay the school's membership dues and other applicable fees in a timely manner.
